Also the crafts had a very important role in the medieval viticulture. In our cellar museum the tools of the coopers, rope-makers and saddlers are demonstrated.

 

We emphasize the role of the barrel handlers, too. They were in charge of the oak barrels. They had to be very careful of transporting the wine, because if a barrel got damaged they paid for it with their life.

Besides these also the demonstration of the activities of the bakers, potters and cup-bearers is part of our exhibition.
